This is dope. The guests keep things more varied and I like that, Royce used to be one of my favorite MCs but he's rambling a bit like Em in his verses. Preem sounds good, the drums are different but I like most of this EP
I think Royce is starting to do that thing where he's trying to fit way more words than necessary into his bars. Kweli did it a lot on Reflection Eternal. It's not even bad or anything. I don't know if I'm making any sense. Like he's trying to give the impression that he's flowing all over the beat instead of just being content with fitting into it, but somehow it seems a little rushed at times? This is dope. Someone spliced those verses together. That's an old Gang Starr beat. Doesn't sound as bad as I was expecting honestly. Never heard this
No shyt, i never knew that. Props on the info, guess i gotta revist that Gang Starr catalogue
Check out my remixVerse on Courtesy is a lyrical exorcism!! Holy shyt....

I kinda feel bad for him. Dude said he straight up didn't want to sample one artist and definitely not Adrian Younge. I wonder if he really turned the corner or if it was on some"we're gonna need you to do this Preem"
Maybe that's overly cynical. I sort of don't think Preem would do anything at this stage of his career that he didn't want to do. For some reason I'm not into Adrian Younge yet. The beat Alchemist did sampling him I wasn't in love with either, and it honestly sounds like it could've been on PRhyme. I could easily hear this beat on this EP with Royce rapping on it.
