Norfeast groovin…

MELO ONLY GOT OUT THE 1ST ROUND 1 TIME...

THATS NOT TRANSLATING TO FINALS
AND MULTIPLE FINALS APPEARANCES.

HE WOULDNT HAVE BEATEN THE PISTONS,
SHAQ HEAT, CELTICS NOR BRON.

You’re probably right but he would’ve stood a much better chance in the East than dealing with the West’s ultra competitive field. The team he went to the conference finals with might’ve made it pretty far.

I thought this was a really good thread and was interested to see the arguments for Melo since I was leaning towards Dwight

:dead:at the poll and feedback. I vividly remember the '03 draft when nikkas knew Bron was better BUT really thought Melo was gonna be a close second in terms of ability to impact the game.

The heel turn began when he gutted the Knicks to force his way out of Denver. Nothing Was The Same :wow:

dwight before he injured his back was a legitimate mvp contender

Dawg was doing them superman dunks while giving you elite defense. He may have benefitted from the era where so many bigs were washed up but god dammit that freakish athleticism would have worked in any era

Carmelord easily. Dwight had an easier path in the east and he had excellent, healthy role players around him

Dwights scoring use to drop significantly against the Celtics. He was lucky KG was injured in 09, other wise we would have had Lakers vs Celtics three years in a row :francis:

This shyt is a landslide. :mjlol:

Dwight single-handedly turned the Magic into the best defensive team in the league with Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu in his front court. :dead:

Carmelo was a fake superstar who didn’t make anyone better and wasn’t a leader. He only made it out of the first round once despite playing with Iverson, Camby, Andre Miller, Kenyon Martin, JR, Nene, etc..

Dwight was in the finals with Jameer Nelson as his starting PG. :francis:

Dwight led his team to the Finals in convincing fashion.

I like Melo, but let's be honest about his game and his results.

:manny:
To be fair. Dwight got to the finals against a garbage Bron team. Carmelo when he was in WCF had to go against back to back Lakers/Kobe and Pau

I'll never forgive Bron for that shyt. Woulda put a dead end to these Bron vs Kobe stan wars we still see today. That nikka Bron was food back then....and Bean was hungry for some get back against whoever in the finals :mjlit:
It wasn’t his fault he killed them :wow:

Carmelo is a Top 10 offensive talent of all time, so this is an unfair comparison
