Prime Dwight was DPOTY 3X and carried his team to the Finals.

Prime Melo never even averaged 30ppg and all he did was score

Melo.

Dwight had a team built around him.

That very same team had Nelson, Reddikk, Hedo and Lewis not missing during the offs.

Those dudes caught lightning in the bottle similar to the Mavs during their title run.

Melo and the Nuggets lost that series against the Lakers because of Karl Malone.

Anthony Carter inbound.
:mjcry:

That was Melo's year. Aside from them both peaking playoffs wins that year Melo had more sustained success.

WAS THE STARTING PG ON THAT FINALS RUN.

STOP TALKING ABOUT shyt
YOU DIDNT SEE.

I said offensive TALENT, not offensive output. The natural god given ability to score with ease. You're just naming names at this point :dead::dead::dead:

Only the bolded I would easily put over Melo

The others are straight up laughable :heh:

:dahell:BUT THATS 13 PLAYERS
AND THE CONVO STARTED
BECAUSE YOU SAID HE WAS TOP 10.

If I’m building a team on NBA2K I take Dwight.

In real life I’m taking Melo.

Both are career losers, so you probably won’t win shyt either way. But atleast with Melo you get a more marketable star, longer prime and he isn’t locker room cancer.

You’ll really overrate Melo offensively he’s a good scorer who leaves his best play in the regular season and he can’t pass

He always brought his regular season play during the playoffs. They don't make it past the Mavs if he left his game during the regular season. He passes the ball and his teammates can't make shots.

Now granted, he's not a passer like Bron but 98% of players aren't. He needed a primary ball handler. He got Billups went to the conference finals.

Smh.
He's not even that good of an offensive player compared to his peers...

Look at who he came in with...

Lebron, Wade, Chris Paul, Chris Bosh, Deron Williams, Lamarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy....all came in within 3 years Melo was drafted...

Carmelo is closer to Lamarcus Aldridge and Chris Bosh...than Lebron, Wade and Paul...in term of talent and impact...

Rudy Gay could score in all the same places as Carmelo...

Beasley can score in all the same places as Carmelo...

Jabari Parker can score in all the same places as Carmelo...

This is the NBA...give anybody 20 to 24 shots...they can put numbers up....the real talent is...is effective to winning....

Carmelo's game ain't really conductive to winning if he is your best player...

Rudy Gay, Parker and Beasley all had their chances to be the man but didn't. I suppose it takes more than being a copy to make buckets and go to the offs. None of them are hard workers improving their techniques.

Melo was also strong and quick for his size. Exactly what those guys lacked.

The way y'all are facetious when it comes to Melo is astounding.

Paul had those amazing Clippers teams and did what with them? And yet Paul finally made it to the conference finals last year.

Wade got his rings while his body was in mint condition.

Bosh, LeBron had to stack the deck in the East. Aldridge has had a great cast for years now.

Deron Williams also had everyone playing out of their mind. But that was one year.

Most guys hit that amazing year once.

Melo sustained it for 13 years.

CP3, Wade and Lebron are MVP caliber players...and had MVP caliber seasons...Carmelo hasn't

Chris Bosh and Lamarcus were smart enough to realize they ain't the MAN....

Rudy Gay's original team traded his ass because they realized he isn't needed...

Michael Beasley got shipped around because he wasn't needed...

Jabari Parker was actually pretty good before he got injured and came back was the same player, but his style of play ain't needed either...

Carmelo came in the league at the right time and the right place because it was the ending of the Iso-Ball, midrange jumpers with the foot on the line era...and everybody wanted an elite iso wing player to carry 4 scrubs...Carmelo fit that mold...

Nuggets traded Carmelo and was just fine without him....they played D, passed the ball, got everybody shots...

Carmelo ain't changed at all...he still the same guy that isos, takes 4 jab stab steps, for a midrange in your face jumper, or pumps fakes at the 3 point line for a pull-up....

Carmelo was never that good...on the winning side of things...talented yeah...but great...like Top 5 player....nah...all-time great player...not really....

They gutted the team to get him...never put a good team around him:gucci:

My point is put those Nuggets in the East & he gets out. This isn't debatable:manny:

Melo had more success play in the west than he did in the East :mjlol:

So he gotta be on a team with AI/Billups while playing in the east to prove his greatness?
