Oh right, that's the type of success that matters. That INDIVIDUAL recognition.
I never dismissed shyt, I was talking about 2008-2011 Lakers and dont be coming here comparing those nikkas, as great and fukking amazing as they were, to what the Heat had these past few years. Pau Gasol was an elite big man with a unique skill set that set him apart from other bigs, but after that there was a pretty big drop off in talent even to Odom whose success came a lot due to the system he was in(because that nikka jumped off a cliff after he left LA). and the teammates he had.
And damn man, I aint even hating Lebron. This is a comparison thread, im just answering the question which was: "Is prime Kobe as good as 30 year old Lebron" which I find quite ridiculous. I'm not taking anyway anything from Lebron, but the stat geeks get on my nerves because I know they're not watching the same game I'm watching. Lebron has astounding court vision and it allows him to score easy baskets, that doesn't make him a better scorer than Kobe like some of these people are suggesting. the guy shoots wide open threes..that doesn't mean he's a better three pointer shooter than Kobe(my god if was getting open threes at any point in the last decade he would have been raining it from downtown like it was the olympics).
And btw, Lebron did play the most dominant big man since Wilt. Just wasnt the same nikka.
