empty stats... kobe wins more, better stroke, better three point shooter, mid range jumper, free throws, higher basketball iq, footwork, fundamentals, post-game, better handles, better defender prime-for-prime, better leader, way more clutch.... the only thing lebron has on kobe is athleticism and physical ability. he's physically a beast, but as far as basketball goes, he's not seein kobe......only casual basketball fans go by stats and cant look past em, real spit.

So Kobe is better at things that aren't quantifiable and don't really matter while having just as many playoff game winners as Lebrkn despite taking 7 more.

Lebron has better shot selection, is a better finisher at the rim, is a better passer, better playmaker, better rebounder, the better athlete, the better and more versatile defender, better at finishing through contact, better at drawing fouls, and the more versatile around player.

Lebron is pretty much a perimeter player who has as much offensive and defensive impact like a big man while still being a great passer and having court vision thought only to be reserved for top-tier PGs.

do you know how many 50+ win teams lebron has beat in his PO career?

he played in the EC which over the last 10+ YRS HAS been the weakest in history.. only team that been GREAT over thoses years taht bron has been playin in the nba is THE BOSTON CELTICS... and his stats nose dived when he played them in the PO

as well as the other teams he met in the finals that were 50+win teams where his stats nose dived..

imm sure this is alll a coincidence tho :mjpls:

2011 Bulls- 62-20
2011 Celtics 56-26
2012 Pacers 39-27 (52 win equivalent)
2012 Thunder 47-19 (58 win equivalent)
2013 Spurs 58-24

Nice talking point bro.

A) 39-27 is not a 52 game equivalent dumbazz. What school did you go to? :snoop:

B) If you really want to go there, Kobe playin' 3-4 50 win teams every year FOR HIS WHOLE CAREER.

you wanna do the 3peat years :usure:

Blazers, Spurs, Kings during those years were :wow:, just :wow: It took the Mavs 8 years of knockin' on the door to make it out the West, and then went through the Heat like a knife through butter, f*ck outta here. Look f*ck nikkaz, 'Bron is a great player, and props to him for winning the championship. Did we not watch the same finals? Was not this nikka Lebron garbage for 4 games out of 7? Did he not fall back against Tiago Splitter? Are we really saying a man dared to hit an open jumpshot is better than Kobe? Really? It's come down to this now? :patrice:

Didn't answer the question. So someone scoring 35 points in 35% efficiency is impressive to you? Lebron scored 5 less points on much higher efficiency. You're arguing that if Lebron took 6 more shots again, he couldn't make 2 of them.
Actually Kobe shot 45% from the field that year. Kobe Bean Bryant is a “shooting” guard. For a “shooting” guard that’s a good percentage. Now LeBron James is a point forward (small forward). Therefore he is asked to go into the paint more often to score. As a point forward he is asked to run the floor and score at will when he gets the ball on the break. Correspondingly, LeBron is going to have a higher field-goal percentage.

Kobe Bryant shot 30 or more shots 25 times in the 2006 season. LeBron James has shot 30 or more shots 27 times in his career. LeBron could have lead the league in scoring every season if he wanted to. Thats the problem with volume stats, you lose perspective and you type bullshyt.
Sorry, don't deal in hypotheticals. Only facts.

So Lebron scores as much as Kobe does, over entire seasons and entire post-season performances because he's much better at deciding when to shoot and pass?

Maybe that's why Lebron averages more assists than Kobe does.

Good argument, breh. Absolute genius.

"Lebron takes smarter shots and realized that getting your teammate good looks is important to basketball success do that's why Kobe is better!"

Lebron scores as much as Kobe, on higher efficiency, while averaging more assists and rebounds over his entire career than Kove does in his best seasons.

Lebron already has 3 more MVPs, the same amount of FMVPs, and craps on him in stats.

What's the argument again? Lebron is a better all-around player than Kobe and impacts the game in more ways than Kobe?

If you think Kobe is better than Lebron because he scores more on less efficiency, you probably also think AI is better than Magoc Johnson because he scores more on worse efficiency.

so based on your logic, wilt > mj because wilt scored just as much on higher efficiency

slap yaself...like i said, lebron having a high percentage is because he's selective. being selective is the same reason he scored under 20 for 3 straight finals games. get it through ya head mayn.

Wins more:

shaq-kobe.jpg

better stroke:

:dahell:
better 3 point shooter:
Career: LeBron James 33.7% Kobe Bryant 33.6%. Season high: LeBron James 40.6% (2013) Kobe Bryant 38.6% (2003)

better mid range jumper:
LeBron James 2013 41.7% Kobe Bryant 2010 42.5%

better basketball iq
LeBron top 10 in turnovers 9 times, top 10 in assists 6 times. Kobe Bryant top 10 in turnovers 9 times, top 10 in assists 0 times. LeBron James, career 49% from the field, Kobe Bryant career 45.5%.

better footwork

LeBron James career 1.9 personal fouls for career. Career low 1.4 (2013)
Kobe Bryant career 2.6 personal fouls. Career low 1.4 (1997, as Eddie Jones backup of course)

better post game

LeBron James- 75.6% FG at rim (2013) Kobe Bryant 69.3 %FG (2013)

better handles

LeBron James career 6.9 ast per game, good for 28th all time average. Kobe Bryant, 4.8 ast per game. Also see turnovers.

better defender

LeBron has more steals and blocks per game on less personal fouls. Kobe ran away from guarding Pierce or Allen in 2008, so we really have to dial in on "prime defense" Kobe. Yeah. No guarding Derrick Rose for him. No no.

better leader

Last 3 seasons with LeBron James Cavs-69.9% winning percentage
Last 3 seaons without LeBron James- 27.8 winning percentage

Last 3 seasons without LeBron James-Heat 42.6% winning percentage
Last 3 seasons with LeBron James- 73.9 winning percentage

Making for a 69.5 winning percentage over the last 6 years. Making for a better winning % than Kobe's 67.6% win percentage for the seasons with Pau Gasol, and of course his 49.1 win % as his teams best player pre Gasol. LeBron has never missed the playoffs in his prime, as Kobe did in 2005 at age 27. Leadership.

Glad you didnt say Kobes a better scorer

Youngest player to score 20,000 points: (29 years, 122 days)[56]
Surpassed by LeBron James (28 years, 17 days) on January 16, 2013.[57]
Chamberlain (29 years, 134 days),[56] Michael Jordan (29 years, 326 days),[58] Bryant, and James are the only four players to reach the milestone under the age of 30.
Youngest player to score 18,000 points: (28 years, 156 days)
Surpassed by LeBron James (27 years, 35 days) on February 3, 2012.
Youngest player to score 15,000 points: (27 years, 136 days)[59]
Surpassed by LeBron James (25 years, 79 days) on March 19, 2010[60]
Youngest player to score 10,000 points: (24 years, 193 days) on March 4, 2003[1][61]
Surpassed by LeBron James (23 years, 59 days) on February 27, 2008[62]

Way more clutch:

Kobe Bryant 7/27 in playoff game winners. LeBron James 6/14. LeBron James is the NBA all time leader in points per game in Elimination games, Facing elimination games and Game 7. He of course outclasses Kobe's playoff numbers as well as stated in a previous post.

Sorry, don't deal in hypotheticals. Only facts.

Isn't this entire thread about incomplete hypotheticals? For example, when I point out that Wade and Lebron did better against the 2004-2007 Pistons than Kobe, they start soiling themselves and breaking down individual games and defense ratings, basically in complete violation of every other stupid thing they've previously said.

So, let's just measure head to head. Prime KObe wasn't even as good as Sophmore Lebron

:lolbron:
