Does it matter?
Prime Jordan > Prime Kobe | Prime LeBron
And it would be arguable to say that Prime Pippin > Prime LeBron, however, LeBron still has time on his side to make history.
lol
thats not arguable
pippen cant be mentioned with lebron

Scottie Pippen:
90-91: 18 (52%), 7, 6
91-92: 21 (50%) 8,7
Factor in Bron getting 6 more freethrow attempts cause of the softer league and it evens out. Pippen played when people had signs saying "Basketball not Football" lol. Prime Pippen in 2013 would be a beast. 6'8 220 and could add weight if he felt the need to do so.
very simple minded analysis from someone who obviously has never played sports
actually it is
thats like bron goes 10/20 and kobe goes 9/20
when you factor in kobe taking the tough shots at the end of the shot clock while lebron passes it to a teammate so they take the fg% hit, then what does the extra 1 shot made over 20 attempts really mean?
thats not even factoring in the boosted efficiency from fast break buckets and wide open jumpers. you cant compare the 2 as scorers in a half court set.
you stat nerds gotta start watching and understanding games.

And it would be arguable to say that Prime Pippin > Prime LeBron, h

Let's compare fg% instead.
Lebron 49%
Kobe 45%
Is it close?![]()
as 1st yr being a starter:
Lebron: 20 (42%)/5/5
Kobe: 20 (46%)/5/3

You're really comparing a relative measure, percentage, to an absolute number, scoring? You kobestans are such adorable retards.
Why compare as starters? It's not Lebrons fault kobe wasn't good enough to start. This is another example of why Lebron is just better.![]()

Uh, I know its close. I was waiting for the Bron Stan to say it isn't.

And he did!
Here's an absolute comparison. Is 2-2 finals record with 10 wins and 12 losses better than 5-2 finals record with 20 wins and 15 losses?

Lebron's best season is 31.4 ppg 7.0 rpg and 6.6 apg game
Kobe's is 35.4 ppg 5.3 rpg and 4.5 apg.
So 4ppg game is "not even close" ?
Now compare their worst seasons...![]()
Kobe's best scoring season is 35 PPG on 45% shooting. Lebron is 30 PPG on 50%. That is literally about as even as it comes.
Lebron literally averaged 5 less points but higher percentage, more rebounds and almost 3 more assists.
Kobe averaged 4.5 assists on 35 points so he was responsible for anywhere between an extra 8 to 12 points (Depending on if it was a 2 or 3) on top of his points scored. So between 43-47 points that Kobe was responsible for when you take his passing into account.
Lebron averaged 8.6 assists on top of his 30 points do he was responsible for another 16 to 24 points on top of the 30 he put up himself. So Lebron was responsible for an extra 46 to 54 points when you factor in things like passing.
Kobe scored 5 more points on less efficiency because Lebron was dropping between 16-24 points of assists per game with his much better passing.
No, it's not close...... 4 points is the difference between 16 ppg (a serviceable player) and 20 ppg (all-star caliber). It may not look like a big difference when u reach the 30s, but it is.
And comparing their worst seasons makes no sense as we're talking prime for prime.. Kobe plays for the greatest franchise of all time, had to work his way up to greatness, and had to take the keys to the franchise with his incredible will. LeBron was drafted to the shyttiest franchise and was handed everything from day 1 because he was a physical specimen..... Real Gs fux wit Kobe.
