This DMX Freestyle KILL those Lupe Freestyle he posted.
I'm this close to starting a best of DMX FREESTYLE Thread

Let's be honest and take the nostalgia headphones off...

Lu's mass appeal freestyle had more quotables than that X freestyle. :yeshrug:

That mass appeal freestyle was borderline terrible...because Lu's delivery, cadence & mic presence was so weak...also convincibility...nerd ass nikkas with gun bars :mjlol:

I mean the bars were there in both of those freestyles posted...but his delivery is awful.

Lu has the same problem that alot of these mid-to-late 2000's/2010's era rappers have...weak delivery, bad vocal tonality, bland voice, bad flow...no standout vocal attributes... all those factors make Lupe almost unlistenable to me.

Exactly, you compare it to Guru and you see the vast difference. It sounds so weak in comparison, voice sounds horrible. Bars weren't anything special in my opinion either. Some of Lupe's shyt can just sound so awkward, his good song ratio isn't good to me at all, a few I like but he ruins a lot of songs with fundamental flaws to me. Some of the lyrics and inflections and shyt are just cringeworthy.

That DMX freestyle was so much better, I don't even fukk with that like that as disagree with some of the content but from an objective perspective he ripped it MC wise and showed in numerous areas why he is a better MC.

Bad flow? Stop it breh :beli:

Lupe's flow is one of his greatest attributes because he doesn't have a signature one. Dude has out flowed the competition many of times. He has a pipsqueak voice but it's unique and his delivery is dope. His voice fit his style perfectly, he's a slick talker, especially in the early days of his d-boy/hustler raps.

Just because the nikka ain't yelling on the mic doesn't mean he has bad delivery.

Lupe was in the streets before the deal with Atlantic Records. You don't know the work he used to put in on westside of Chicago before this rap shyt starting popping off for him
