I admit Lupe did his thing on those two albums but you only got X with one classic:dwillhuh:

I bought DMXs first three albums and Grand Champ when it first came out. The other albums had "classics songs" in them. I would go as far to say that Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood and there was X were classics albums.

I'm a fan of both but Lupe is a special talent.

No-one compared K-Rino to anybody in here. We're talking about the man who said...

"You're like a contemporary musem of art, that farts"

Like it was some profound poetry :dead:

"Flow is tight, SKINNY JEANS, SKINNY JEANS" :dead:
Winslow takes another L:flablupe:

Although I'm a much bigger Lupe fan than an X fan, I feel like you have to go with X for the total package in terms of music and his legacy/career is more already set in stone.

DMX's prime was more clear cut and undeniable. He was emblematic of the time much more than Lupe.

As an all time favorite for myself, I'd prefer Lupe especially cuz of what I'm expecting to come and the longevity of his lyrical prowess.

The fact that DMX is more personable makes a big difference to people. Emotion from Lupe comes in flashes and most of the time strictly through the words while with X, it's an integral part of his music whether it's in the content or delivery.
