Man stfu, you're exposing yourself you dumb pos. When Pierce went down in game in 07, they had an article in the Herald on how his teammates miss his defense the most. It was all about how he was an underrated defender. GTFO with that "I've watched Pierce his entire career shyt".

Pierce has been the captain and leader of this team for damn near 10 years. Nothing changed when KG got here. Pierce is the captain/leader and his teammates(especially any teammate not named Allen or Garnett) have always referred to him as such.

I'm not sure Pierce played defense consistently before Shuttlesworth and Ticket, when his focus was more on scorin' (could be wrong) , and outside of his '06 season, it's hard to argue for The Truth. Melo's '07, '08, '10, and '11 seasons match, if not exceed Pierce's best seasons. However if I'm interpeting the thread title to mean current Anthony, as in Knicks Anthony, I'm takin' Pierce.
