at least twice a year I get approached by somebody that wants me to join Primerica. I've been to a couple of meetings here and there but nothing seemed to interest me. I saw some dudes with big certificates sayin they made 1 milly or 1.5 milly in one year but I still was never impressed. The licenses that you get are legit though.....I think.

sounds like vector/cutco

I did the vector/cutco thing at the end of my senior year of H.S. The only reason why I came out of that with a W was cause I got a friend of mine who ended up leaving the country to front me the 150 for the starter pack of knives. I sold like 400 worth of knives for them and got like $40 for it and then the next yr (mind you I quit a 2 weeks after I started) they sent me another $40 check, idk why. I just deposited that shyt in my bank.:win: I still got the knives on me, I tried to sell them on ebay like a year or so ago but my dumbass wasnt tryna let them go for less than like 400 :snoop: cause thats how much their worth. I think ima put em back on ebay starting at $100 and see where they go from there.

Cutco/vector is not as bad as those other ones, you really can make money with it. I made $40 in like a day of presentations. Presented to 3 of my friends ppls and sold to 2 of them, with the 3rd wanting to buy from me like acouple weeks later as a wedding gift but I had already quit. The only problem is they literally will have you calling random ppl you aint never really talk to but you just have their number at like 9am on a Saturday morning .

went to a vector meeting as well once when I was desperate for a job.....I got up and walked right outta the presentation and some girl started yelling at me like "where are you going get back in there".......I gave her the :shaq2: look. She's lucky I didn't knock her ass out.

Another scam I got tired of people trying to get me into is Amway.

:pacspit: @ CRIMErica.
They almost ruined my relationship. :damn:
The brainwashing they do to people is impeccable. You can't tell them diehards shyt. My girlfriend ain't wanna talk to me for a weekend after I broke down the truth for her. But not after they had us come up to the Poconos for a weekend where they pretty much bled us dry for two days. :wow:

:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit: @ them for preying on vulnerable poor folks though. Selling folks dreams.

I knew this girl who was trying to get me to do it.. I started avoiding her after this..

Buuuuuttttt I started to see her on facebook getting her 6 63 66 and 26... Its starting to peak my interest... The 66 and 26 are some decent licenses to have..

The licensing is the only thing that would peak my interest. Especially is they are paying and i have a FT gig already

All Scams and a waste of time.

I hate being approached by these people stating to me that they have a "Business" opportunity for me. :wtb:

My boy literally told me he wanted to put me on this guy who got him a job and that I needed to meet him at the Sheraton because that's where he was staying. Low and behold I walk into one of those seminars (for ACN). Well I already had my excuse even before I walked in that place. Was out that bytch in 4 minutes. Took the literature and bounced.

but guess what like no later than a day maybe 2 days later my boy had booked a meeting for these people AT MY HOUSE! :aicmon:
next thing you know a 56 year old Cac shows up to my house in your standard Impala or Buick talking about he's getting money. :comeon: Yea ok!
Next thing you know there's like 4 middle aged Cac's in my house. (I got a pimp crib*Momma's house*) and they are almost holding me hostage putting on a presentation, trying to get me to give up numbers.

They give the presentation and then dude straight up ask me for 400 dollars like it was nothing :upsetfavre:

The nerve of these fools..

They left my house feeling salty.
I pulled my boy aside with the

I was wit Primerica for like a year, I'll give you the scoop...

It's a mlm insurance company. It's not a scam in business, but it will fukk up your relationships. Only because the company saves money by not marketing but instead having their insurance agents (you) do all the marketing.

You get legit licenses and you can make money. If you one of them people from the islands like Haiti or Cuba, you can make a lot of money too. Reason being, those people have a community that is trusting and close.

Jean Claude when he joins Primeria can come home to lil Havanna and tell Beaux and all them to no ask any questions and just purchase this insurance and join his team. Some them Africans and Haitans be having 100 people all loyal on their team. They cakin!!!

But the average black person, we don't have that. Our people give you the :aicmon: about buying anything. Then poor people renig on insurance too quick, causing you to have paybacks.

We don't move in the circles usually, which would help us be successful in that business.

Yeah, I couldn't stand how cult like it was either. I wasn't down with going to those meetings every week to hear the leader pump our heads up. I was more like alright, give me my license and let me go do my thing. I didn't try to recruit people and get rich I just wanted some side money. It was fine for that.

Also you can get your securities (investment licenses) and if you move in the right circles you can cake off that too.

All in all, it's a legit company, but they have a bad name from attempting to recruit people and they get cultish with it.

They're not scams they are sales positions with the pay based on commissions. Just because you want use to a wage/salary don't make it a scam.

The only thing I don't like about these companies and jobs that are commisson based in general is how they MARKET the position. You go in thinking its one way but it ends up being something else.
