My lineup and how I see the albums
when i listen.

1# Purple rain : rockstar!
2# Parade : expensive cologne and champange.
3# 1999 : sex under neon lights
4# Sign o the times : Perfect album.
5# Around the world in a day: The mind trip.

Parade may be his most slept
on album and to me it was magic.
(edit) this is the sister album to parade.

Yessir. the thing that I love about Parade is how perfectly he sequenced that album. the songs flow so seamlessly together. Clare Fischer was a genius too!

Yeah, my all time favorite Prince album is Sign O The Times; it's the one I listen to the most and I love how he combined all of his sounds into one whole album; both discs are classic. Album is just so incredible. :ohlawd:

Every album that i've ever listened
to I label by the mood it gave me.
The Family's debut album is a masterpeice.
I call it the sister album to parade.
( the silk pajama era)
And prince was a genius at song
placement on albums man.
crazy fact: him and claire never met in
person.....Prince thought it would jinx
their magic.

Oh yeah, The Family album is a golden!
That's a great analogy, it really is like the sister album to Parade; very similar in sound with the Jazz influence

Yeah, I remember reading that Clare Fisher and Prince never met because of him thinking it was ruin the magic they had by just sending the music back and forth to one another without actually being in the studio together

Prince was truly a genius :mjcry:
