Sounds like they're keeping kids phones and selling/using them. Which is obviously completely illegal. There's so much fukkery, shadiness and outright corruption in the public school system it'll make your head spin.

My principal in high school would do shyt like that, always keep it for a day and sometimes threaten to take it for a weekend :aicmon:

What was worse was my parents would be in cahoots with the bytch :sadcam: :pacspit:

Too much blurring between school and life.

This is the kinda ish that makes nikkas hate school. You cant teach discipline by controlling. THis is the kind of stuff that creates people who look to sneak and shortcut.

give the kids freedom and let em find out they make their own choices for themselves not because of threats or that someones watching.

They'd take phones til Friday if a teacher took it down to the office (They usually wouldn't but some snitch ass teachers would do it). When I got caught in like 10th grade I handed them 1 of my friends handy dandy back up flip phones :lolbron:

It's a trash system though, most teachers would just take it til the end of class or simply tell you to put it up. If they took it til Friday only a parent could come up there and get it beforehand.

Principal was absolutely right. Policy towards phones was in the rules and guidelines. Kid violated the guidelines, phone was confiscated and a replacement made available for emergencies.

If it is the parents' property, they should instruct the child to use it properly or not allow them to use it at all.

:comeon: that 'policy' sounds hella shady taking a premium phone and exchanging it for a burner :mjlol:

I don't trust the school with potentially keeping any kids phone. They might be using it for some nefarious reasons.

"In a few weeks" .. Sounds like Philly.

Edit:
That was a guess for Philly, I was right :ehh: *Goes to buy myself some Famous Amos cookies*

Some schools are letting kids do assingments in class using their phone. Basically, saying if we can't beat, join em. They'll also allow kids to use them during lunch.

If the parents ok ...... parents and principal were like :umad:

We used to have to wait till the last day of school to get anything they confiscated, even if they took it on the first day of school.

Better believe if the kid knew about the no phone policy, I would not go over the head of the principal and school. Not in a million years.

I wonder if the dad wants to be defiant to rule that the daughter was aware of? Then he gonna wonder why his daughter out of control?
