This may sound silly, but how do you choose who to eat with? Do you just start with the fish and then clique up? Do you ask if you can join folk? Do you get your tray and eat dolo? How crowded are dining halls considering you can get commisary?

Also, how do yall cook ramen? A dude in holding (i got clipped on a dui. Just sat for a day) explained it to me but i forgot.

Nah it's not silly bruh alot of cats don't know how things actually work in there,what they show in Movies are blown out if proportion and what they show on TV isn't explained in detail so no question is silly,which is why I made this thread.

It's sorta like school all over again breh,unless you know someone in there already,you just take the next available seat and sit until you meet some cats you can link with,you gotta sit with people though,even if you don't know em.

Nah you can't get your tray and just eat dolo,only time you can do that is if there's nowhere else to sit then you can go to an empty table,but if it's a spot available then you must sit there.

Yea they mostly crowded because alot of guys don't have alot of commissary, so they always got a nice amount of cats in there chow room.

We got microwaves breh lol yea some guys get crafty and jailbreak things and are able to heat the water up as well,also some places I was at had heaters that warm water up as well.

Yea chi-chis, cookups,spreads,etc all still popular,they are looked at as the most expensive meals in the entire prison system,so if you eating these on the regular your looked at as prison rich. And you don't have to only use cheese curls, guys use Doritos, fritos,sausages,cheese,jalapeños, jalapeño cheese,etc

Word. One more food question. Is it possible, or even viable, to be vegetarian inside?

you can even be kosher and no salt. depends if you get the clearance to get your wish, but usually religious and health wise get it.
the people where i was at wasnt allowed to be vegetarian or vegan. you just didnt eat the meat you got. and the food was on a portioned plate so it never touched anything else.
they tried to have us on a daily 2800 calorie diet every day. so even if you didnt eat meat, you still got something to eat off your plate or you ordered commissary and ate off that.





@Originalgangsta317 what did they give you to drink??
we would get purple kool aid and red kool aid with dinner and lunch. but only one cup each meal.

Yea religious and people with health problems usually are the ones that get it,the Muslims come to mind first.

We got water,milk,and fake kool aid lol and same here one cup,but I didn't trip off that because I had commissary

i never understood why i couldnt keep my milk after the meal. everything had to be thrown out. even if you wanted to save one ketchup pakket they said NO.
and if they found it, you would get written up. over a measly condiment.
shyts were 15cents each on commissary. i guess they wanted us to buy them, but it was stupid. throw away a pakket rather than have the inmate use it later...smh
we got milk with every 3 meals.. and that kool aid ish, but not during breakfast.
did breakfast come at 5:30am for you too?
lunch was 11:30
and dinner was 5;30

Hell yea that's why I said I never tripped, because they wouldn't let you take things back,but we'd always find a way to get extra milks,fruits, etc if we needed em.

And yes bot sauce,ketchup would cost 15 cents on the commissary list,most people think we got that stuff for free lol nope everything in prison cost.

And no mines was 6:30,12,6:30
