Prison myths,facts,reality..................here is the thread some of yall wanted me to do

Hell yea it's a ploy,its all about money man,i mean yes you need somewhere to house murderers ,rapist,etc,but prison is nothing but a scam man,i mean I remember when I first got to prison ,the food was terrible,and I asked a cool CO why is the food so terrible ,he told me they try not to spend over a dollar per meal,per inmate,so think about that breh,some days we'd get chicken,bread,juice,beans and potatoes,now they are only spending a dollar on all of that and we eat 3 times a day,just imagine how terrible the quality of food is,they don't rehibilatate prisoners the right way,all that money and it's not used for what it should be

in the last facility i was at ..it was older white guy...racist than a muhfukka..doin 45..

he asked me...where i was from..n what facilities i was at..i told em..he was like u see the difference...i go yeah..he goes...this is bullshyt..this unit is gettin all kinds of funds from the states n other outside businesses..

n they just got a contract worth millions from aramark...

look at our conditions...look how it is in here..food trash..and aramark is suppose to be one of the top food service businesses...but the product hasnt changed in 7years...

rodents...snakes...bed bugs all kinds of shyt..

infirmary cant handle the pink eye...aramark got our food n laundry..

why u think half of us got the pink eye n shyt...shyt is the reason..

he said its a reason why we never eat shyt from the kitchen...if our laundry aint clean..u kno the kitchen not clean...

so even tho the stuff in commisary may be expired...better than bullshyt they servin with dirty pans n shyt...

the first day i noticed the food..n shyt...once he verified what i was thinkin already

..shyt i stocked up on oatmeal, rice, spam, tuna, mackeral juice.peanut butter .bread candy and other items..

commerce between inmates went every day...so i also stocked up for shyt i can trade or look out for ppl i was cool with until their money come in ...like envelops, stamps, pens, folders calendars toothpaste n shyt like that

Yup I only ate commissary as well,i stuck with ramen noodles,beef sticks,refried beans,oatmeal and fruits,plus I was on my workout shyt crazy so I wasn't tryna put no bullshyt in my body or at least try not to,i would trade off my trays for guys commissary,i couldn't eat that shyt anymore. But I will admit some facilities foods was better than others,when I was at Kinross correctional facility that was the best food I had while incarcerated,but every other place was horrible,Baraga maximum facility was the worst I've ever experienced

Racial enviroment is fukked up,but it is what it is,stick with your race and 90% of the time you smooth,you can be cool with other races,likelihood of it happening is slim,and sometimes,they'll lock you up with a different race purposely,even if you ask em not to.

Yea,I worked as a food carrier and chopping tree's,pay sucks only made 15.80 a month,but everything you heard about employment and pay in prison is true,slavery fareal.

Suicide is very common,but these idiots place muthafukka's who really need mental help in there with us,they lose they mind and end up killing themselves or somebody else

Yup I only ate commissary as well,i stuck with ramen noodles,beef sticks,refried beans,oatmeal and fruits,plus I was on my workout shyt crazy so I wasn't tryna put no bullshyt in my body or at least try not to,i would trade off my trays for guys commissary,i couldn't eat that shyt anymore. i already was fit from playin ball..plus i was sippin barre real heavy then too.. ramen noodles was the last thing i wanted to touch..i hated that shyt with a passion..

if u been sippin lean for years...then all of sudden u stop...u gone have hell...an ol head told me..if u ever get locked up...stay away from top ramen...n shyt like that kuz when that barre come back n hunt u u gone wish u was dead..

that shyt stuck with me..told me to stay on bananas and avacados and water...til the chills go away n u will have lesser stomach cramps n pains..

i did..

wilmer imo had the best food...n trustees was playa as fukk..they double n triple ya portions..kuz they didnt wanna have to deal labeling and dating left over foods...then having to weigh it n shyt when they have to throw it out...once it expires...then have to deal with food cost drama..

some of em..would trade left overs for commisary...shyt wilmer had this best turkey salad i ever had in my life, couldnt wait til thursday..

n visits...they had a bacon cheeseburgers n hotwings when they had the account with vistar...that was the closest things to eating on the outs as it was...we named the vending machines whataburger n wing stop..lol..

nikkas was callin and writing past p*ssy to jus to get to whataburger n shyt..hell if u didnt have nobody we had a share a hoe system..lol

militant nikkas approach me when i first got sent to state my 2nd time...they approach me kuz of a mutual potna..that was down with them...they started we needed to stick together shyt...im like we aint gotta do a muhfukkin thang we wasnt together when we got in here..n we aint leavin this bytch together..

one of em was like u jus young ..i go we know that..and he didnt like it...n was we gonehave a problem then...im like well shyt we ready ...

couple of cos was laughin at the whole thing..once they saw it escalating they grabbed me...co was like i heard u was a a$$hole but i aint never seen no shyt like that..

Y'all ever think about doing something to shed light and raise greater awareness on the exploitation and harsh conditions of being locked up. I know mainstream society views incarceration as due punishment, but seeing how taxpayer money is aiding in the mishandling of funds, allowing certain industries to profit at the expense of essentially slave labor and in humane conditions, would piss a lot of people off if they knew....

that shyt bigger than us...its known in texas...the juvenile system exposed it...a couple years ago....it only led to the adult system..to get rid of weaker workers who would talk..n bring in more corrupt ones...that will keep it behind prison walls..what happens in the bad ones stays in the bad ones..

but u can look up places like conally, feurgoson, polunksy dawson n others...u see stories bout cats dying all the time..n these come from inmates..

and like i said harris county...is worse than all of em...its overcrowded...no real format...or nothing...and to think my pops n uncles who was worse than i..would tell me ..they glad they didnt have to deal with it...kuz they always said harris county was day camp..
