Buddy you literally just said that the number of schools, not the number of students, is what makes tuition free college difficult.
The number of students will never change.

But the access to higher education will become a problem.

You must not know what you're arguing...or not realize you don't have a point.

Except the number of college students rises every decade bud

The number of students isn't the problem. Its the number of universities thats the problem.

You first asked which was more important.

Keep up.

And more universities close when you force them all to be publicly funded

HBCU's would also be pretty much wiped out.
No, they would not. Stop using that talking about that Clyburn tried to use. Most black people have shut that down plus both Sanders and Clinton specifically set aside money for HBCUs. They would still get federal funding regardless.

making public college free is super affordable idk why you keep talking about how many colleges we have. it's still affordable :mjlol:

you have still failed to provide any evidence that suggests it would be unaffordable. i take it you don't have any idea how these programs work. :russ:
it trips me out all these guys who says free public college and universal health care would be disasters yet there are poorer countries that have both and are doing just fine :mjlol:

HBCU's are struggling to stay afloat as it is, most are private, if you have the option of going to a free state school than why would anyone enroll in private HBCU's? They may get funded but enrollment levels will eventually come to the decision that there is no need for many of them to stay open.

I agree with Clyburn in this instance.

I think well-off black people might, but I see your point. But I didn't think you were going with that argument. Most people scoffed at that. Giving a kid a free education is worth more than keeping any one HBCU afloat to me.

first off only 2% of black students go to private hbcus. and that dynamic you bring up is already in play without free public college

public hbcu tuition costs less than private hbcu tuition. so why would anyone go to a private hbuc when there are public hbcu and other public colleges that are cheaper? this is why 75% of black hbcu students are attending a PUBLIC hbcu

this is just a normal issue with public vs. private. private hbcu need to make themselves more attractive or lower their costs :russell:
