I don't know man. Give it time. Vocally the argument can be made right now, fukk it.

Prodigy sounds way more charismatic and live on this here. His subject matter may still be the same, but his energy is up and his delivery is stronger. I think it's fair to say besides a couple songs the production carried most of Return of the Mac. On Albert Einstein I feel like I can listen to P rapping on every joint without getting bored.

This is coming from an Alchemist stan that cares more about production across the board than emceeing and it's not even that close. Prodigy held his fukking weight on this album.

Thats a big claim there and i hope your right because if this is better than ROTM then im in for one hell of a treat!

I got to disagree with you about P on ROTM though. Of course Alc laced that album but P repped on a lot of songs. 7th Heaven, Rotten Apple, The title song, Legends, Mac 10 Handle and Stuck off you ..... just off the top of my head P represented on. P ain't no lyrical genius but his presence is felt so hard on a lot of tracks.

I've been bumping ROTM to keep me calm whilst waiting for the dirty of AE to drop:youngsabo:

The production on this is spectacular, but I felt like it overpowered P on some joints...I could barely hear what Houdini P is saying :damn:

P sounds re-energized on these beats.

Naturally I prefer this over Covert Coup simply because Prodigy as an emcee can handle more uptempo energetic loops which makes for a more powerful listening experience.

Currensy is cool but his repetitive subject matter (weed smoking, smoking better weed than me, rolling better weed than me) got me like this :snooze:

Pretty much every ALC release over the past couple years been hot fiya tho I thought Gutta Water was piff too.

Will cop this when the official version drops.

Oh 100%. Overall the energy on this just seems to be higher. ROTM is an undeniable classic in my book, and P was going in on there.

return of the Mac is NOT a classic.

its a cool album which was supposed to be a mixtape but wasn't all that good.
