Yeah I agree he stepped it up slightly on AE. But he still doesn't spit with any passion or energy like he used to. I can see why a depressed, melancholy, lifeless, slump-shouldered cac fakkit like Big Mel would relate to it, but not anybody that hasn't had their lifeforce siphoned dry.

Undun was actually pretty unremarkable. For such a short album I only truly dug about 4 joints and the way the story was told in reverse was tedious.

I was actually gonna make a thread comparing the two since they are probably my two favorite albums right now, and while P certainly wasn't garbage on AE he was coasting just as much as jay IMO, he has lines that hit here and there but no full verses if you don't count the story telling joint. Jay actually got verses worth of quotes littered through out the album.

Both of them coast over top notch (though different) production though....i'm just glad that MCHG wasn't THAT ill...I was kinda shoot outchea as an eminem stan.



I like MCHG but I still think em has it in him to make a better record.
