The liner notes say P produced this and also Genesis. I can see why people wouldn;t think he did the beats. On the other hand, he used to produce along with Hav back in the day, and if you check the samples, very little was done with them. With all the time that P spent around Hav, and then doing other joints with RZA, Alchemist, Muggs, Ez Elpee, and spending some years in the biz, I'm sure he picked up enough info the make a few beats.
When Mobb Deep started P was more savvy on the boards while Hav was the MC. P taught Havoc how to produce at his grandmothers house in Ravenswood Projects right down the block from QB.

Havoc ghostwrote for P on Juvenile Hell. When Hav brought P to battle Nas and Cormega (considered the nicest then in QB) they didn't think he was that nice. P really transformed on The Infamous.

I always got the impression that Hav teaching P to rhyme and P teaching Hav how to use the beat making equipment happened before Juvenile Hell?
Either way, P definitely had the greatest skill ramp up in hip hop history on the Infamous. And the biggest fall off as well if you compare Hell On Earth to Infamy.

It always amazed me that P got the credit for producing this.

shyt sounds 100% like something Hav cooked up during the Hell on Earth sessions.

Even P's rhyming sounds closer to HoE. It's sharp and aggressive.

It's one of those rare hip hop songs that's both grimey AND smooth. That sample is so lush.

And Chinky kills that shyt too. Just gives it that extra smooth vibe.

This might be my fav Prodigy joint. Either this or Keep It Thoro

P was in his bag!

That never happened though.
