Wonderful beat, smooth as fukk, loved the entire album. Preferred the HNIC/Murda Muzik/Infamy production over the mid-90s more boombap MD style

Classic P. I could listen to this on a desert island for the rest of my life. :bandanap9:
His style from this period might be my fav one contentwise- He kinda took it to the next level by adding a little bit of business/gangsta attitude, but still flowing so smoothly.

Wanna Be Thugs was favorite song. It might be the best album from mob deep
:ohhh: probably the first time I hear this from someone. It's my fav solo rap album and the most played mobb album.

I always got the impression that Hav teaching P to rhyme and P teaching Hav how to use the beat making equipment happened before Juvenile Hell?
Either way, P definitely had the greatest skill ramp up in hip hop history on the Infamous. And the biggest fall off as well if you compare Hell On Earth to Infamy.
Damn I will never be able to fully understand his fall off in general (the infamous-HNIC era compared to the rest of his career, although he also had a lot of bright moments in that period)

Chinky has a Master in Business Administration. So she's earning that paper a different way

Oh man I love that HNIC album. Perfect way to describe it "business/gangsta attitude". Sometimes I think there are too many features but then again. Cormega and Prodigy flowed nicely on the track "Three". Same for Twin on Can't Complain and Nore on What u Rep. I'm actually bothered by Havoc on his two tracks :yeshrug: Havoc on the beat and Prodigy rhyming would've been perfect. Also "Basics" and "Don't Be a Follower" fit this album really well and should've been on the album. Same for the original Quiet Storm. 5 Mic album right there

His fall off is very weird indeed. Like he woke up a completely different person. But he did describe it in his book. He cleaned himself from alcohol, drugs and bad food while working on Murda Muzik and HNIC in 1998 but during the recording of Infamy he began taking drugs, alcohol again. And because he has sickle cell I think it hit him like a ton of bricks but he kept using drugs and alcohol and therefore "Fell off" during that album.

But the weird thing is he never fully recovered and lost his awesome voice too. :mjcry:

"Its 3 p.m. and its 90 out here less get some hoes, son!!" :shaq:

It always amazed me that P got the credit for producing this.

shyt sounds 100% like something Hav cooked up during the Hell on Earth sessions.

Even P's rhyming sounds closer to HoE. It's sharp and aggressive.

It's one of those rare hip hop songs that's both grimey AND smooth. That sample is so lush.

And Chinky kills that shyt too. Just gives it that extra smooth vibe.

This might be my fav Prodigy joint. Either this or Keep It Thoro

One of my favorite tracks off the album.

Perfect summer song...Gonna have to run thru the whole HNIC now
