Are you saying that "ability to commit" is predicated on whether the other person knows of the promiscuous person's past? Like, would a person be less likely to commit if they KNOW the other person used to be promiscuous? Or are you saying that in this day and age, it has no bearing at all..people will commit as they see fit?

How could you want committ if you sleeping around, sounds like an oxymoron to me so to answer your question no. If she wanted a commitment, she'd stop being promiscuous

This part of the quote I have a problem with. I hesitated on this too. I actually think promiscuity is like a drug, once you do it, it becomes addictive, which means that part of the quote is really ....It brings into equation as to "turning a hoe into a housewife", which imo can never be done............

Your willingness to commit MAY be based on a person's past if that's what you're using to determine your mate's worthiness I guess, but the ability to commit is "simply" a matter of keeping your damn word. With that said I also thing commitment is assumed...people think just because you're hanging out regularly and having sex that it equals commitment when in fact I believe it's a separate conversation that should be had and both agree to it.
