K-1st grade I was at a lower tier hood school. Way too smart so I got in trouble cause I was so far ahead.

2nd grade I moved out to the burbs and that shyt changed my life. being around smart and/or smarter kids....more structure. Parents that actually give a damn. Seeing shyt beyond poverty ....




black community schools could be the same but there are too many shytty parents. How can a kid come into Kindergarten BEHIND!? ridiculous and unfair to the low income parent(s) who actually did prepare their kid.

This is why many cities, I can only speak for NYC has provided funding for Universal Pre-K, they have tangible and hard evidence that a child is greatly impacted starting from the early points of their education and social class and income is greatly correlated to this, more so income.

I always thought it was weird to call your kids "fine", "sexy", "a snack" and any other variation of that shyt. I call mines Handsome, because they are. I make good looking kids

All my relatives with kids have me tutor them when they are in 1-3rd grade. Most times it leads to them being put in the top group of students in the school...the gifted classes .
That way they are grouped with like minded kids and don't have to be in classrooms with the riff-raff.

Ive started helping my niece with her homework every day myself.

My younger niece is 4 we tryna get her to know how to read on a basic level by next September when she goes to school.
