"I love you so much, I'll suck on your Daddy's dikk"
This line is a risky Pryor quote that aged badly. It's like, it's gay as fukk, but it's not gay at all at the same time. He intentionally meant to say some homo shyt as a joke.
It's actually nowhere near as bad as this line:
you ain't got the skills to eat a nikkas ass like me
I vote this as the most perfect example of unintentional self-ether in all of hip hop. We all
know, that this was an honest mistake. No other line gives a stronger impression of being a mistake than this one.
Everything else is either too blatant or too subtle. But this line achieves an impossibly perfect balance.
You just
know what Canibus
really meant just as strongly as what he didn't. Out of all the other rappers, Canibus definitely wasn't going into any gay territory. He had pure intentions, and was all about "eating MCs for breakfast," which
everyone was doing back then (especially in the 90s).
But somehow, he fukked up and managed to create what is literally the worst possible phrasing of battle rap concepts, the perfect storm of slang and metaphorical language. His reputation as a talented lyricist makes this worse than all other examples in this thread. This line will haunt him for the rest of his life.
