Been working out a lot, getting a bit of gains, but more of a bloated belly.

Is there a way to consume shakes without bloating? Possibly switching almond milk with water? (Although that would be more for cutting)

or

a different type of protein powder? Like a Vegan protein powder? Or plant based*

I was using gold standard whey protein right now.

EDIT: Switched to plant protein

The whey protein powder was making my skin break out. Now I get my shakes without it. I didn't figure it out until the shut down when I couldn't go the gym and get my shakes and my skin was clear as fukk

Look into the protein shake you’re consuming. Something in it doesn’t agree with your system. Gold standard has milk and soy in it, so that’s a good place to start.

that’s actually one of my fav shakes although I’m not using it now.

The problem could be the ingredient called surculose. It’s an artificial sweeteners and it can cause bloating and gas because they are not easily digested.

now I believe there are products without it but it’s going to be the flavorless ones.
