That's the thing. If Dems want to scrap EC then win in all levels of government. Simple as that.

Its a law in the semse that a few states have laws in place that allow their electors to not have to side with the majority of the people in their respective states.

Breh, it's the UNITED STATES of America, they all need to be included in the voting process and the electoral college, while imperfect, needs to exist in at least some form to make that happen. If you're saying it needs to be tweaked, cool. But a popular vote is not feasible.

Yea I understand your point, which is valid.

I still feel it's not fair and it mathematically gives someone more voting power than someone else, that to me isn't democratic.
As for a tweak, I think the popular vote should mean something and should have a merit on the election.
