If i was idzik id tell rex he has to play all the rookies/back ups just to see what we have. We aint winning anyway. Bench dudes like pace and other vets.

If they suck well good helps our draft position. If we see some potential even better.
I remember reading that nothing can help our draft position. No way we get top 3.
Its crazy how many flat out terrible teams are in the league this season. Its hard to fathom a team being worse than us. Yet we are only drafting in the 5 spot right now.

Hell the giants are awfull too. 3-9. If only idzik hadnt let drc go to the giants. We could be 3-9 right now too.

Rex was too stuck in old school football he was behind the times of this passing league.Ignoring the qb position and offense in general..drafting a in the box safety in the first round

He was too archaic

Sam Bradford yes/no?

i just finished reading a espn insider of the top 15 qbs available next year and he's in it.

he was a number 1 pick so he's worth a look if we have a head coach who is good at developing qbs

I don't think he was that good when he's healthy

I want Jameis
Bradford is funny. He wasn't that good, true. I think that had a lot to do with the team around him though. Did he really have any weapons besides Stephan Jackson? When the offense started to get better was when he got saddled with Schottenheimer and then the bad string of injuries.

I go back and forther between Marriota and WInston, but right now, I'm pro Winston.

Drafting an in the box safety, saying thats what you drafted him to do, then using him as a FS all season :snoop:

Draft a kam chancellor to be your kam chancellor but then have him play earl thomas role then wonder why hes struggling :skip:

I'd rather take the risk with him than waste a pick on Mariota or Winston that will set us back another 5 years...

Bradford's talent has never been the question, he has all the tools but was unfortunately struck with shyttyheimer football and some injuries...We've all been witness to how awful shytty football play calling is...

I'd rather take my chances with Bradford and pray Amari Cooper falls to us...I cannot stress enough how much this franchise needs to strike gold with their number 1 pick this year...

You're overrating Bradford a bit imo...but Id rather go with him short term than lock into Jameis or Mariota I think. Im not all enamored with either of them.

How am I overrating him?

I'm looking at Bradford from a short term perspective here not long term but IF he can stay healthy there is no doubting he could potentially become the long term solution...Dude has the talent and skillset, that's why he was drafted number 1 overall and he's thrown for 3,500+ yards twice in 4 years with those lousy STL teams...His career completion percentage is right up there with Andrew Luck (58.6)...

I would roll the dice with him and see if maybe all this kid needs is a change of scenery...What exactly do we have to lose? Thanks to Idziks drafting skills and FA management its not like this team is going anywhere in the next 3 years...

Just baffles me on how many can't miss WR's prospects we passed up on

Draft Cooper in the 1st round and draft Duke Williams in the 2nd round.

You can hire Mike Martz as the HC for all I care
