Geno looked pretty good. Gets a tad inaccurate when guys are close to his feet...but the throw to Decker was a bullet. Walls should start...Coples cant play the outside..Amaro looks like its clicking for him thank god...Hill and WIlson are both terrible and need to go regardless of our lack of depth. All in all a decent performance by the Jets. Also CJ looked really good.

The Gmen are in for a long season.

I agree with all of this, but I don't see what a guy like Amaro brings over Cumberland. Cumberland makes tough catches too and he's better after the catch.

I agree with everything but the bolded. I thought he looked decent out there.

Coples can't bend the corner. He doesn't have outside pass rush production. He's had time to learn and just hasn't progressed enough in this area. He's a great run stuffer from the OLB position but an average/below average rusher.

He's a great run stuffer from the OLB position but an average/below average rusher. He is purely a run-stuffing DE in my opinion.
Cumberland fukks up the most routine plays at times.

You might be right but Cumberland was ranked 18th as a TE pass catcher last season. With better QB play, he could be ranked top 10 in the same category. He averages 14 yards a catch and is good after the catch too. On the other hand, he was dead last in blocking. Amaro likely offers more as a blocker but Cumberland has value.

I spent the whole game watching Pryor on defense. Kid just loves to hit. I can't wait to watch him all season. He's gonna have a few very good games, might even be droy.

Amaro looked good too. Decker looks good. Geno looked very good. The D line did their thing. The secondary is just :snoop:. To think we still have 20 mil in cap space that coulda gone to some better secondary help. Ryan nassib killed our "depth" smh

Since this is a copycat league why not run a 2 TE option? :leon:

What's the worst that could happen? Amaro becomes a murderer and Cumberland destroys his body on the dance floor. :lolbron:

Stephen Hill needs to be released, jesus Christ. This dude sucks. He can't run a route to save his life. That double move route was one of worse routes I ever seen.

Why does our WR coach still have a job ?
and he's got stone hands...

Dude is simply not a football player...

Hill is terrible. It's time to move on from him regardless of the lack of depth. Wish we could say the same with Wilson....

But I do think there's a good chance Hill is released. The slant he ran that was broken up by DRC might have been the worst effort I've ever seen from a WR who's trying to make the team.
