He's killed on several screens and he still forces the defense to adjust when moved around. I'm sorry....but Ivory is not the better all around back. CJ is also the better pass blocker with protection.

Johnson can produce monumental gains on screens, but most of time he doesn't. He's a feast or famine back whereas Ivory is a productive workhorse. Virtually every football analysis publication ranks Ivory as the better RB by the numbers, so I'm not the onlone. Ivory is actually one of the better backs in the NFL. CJ has been getting pilloried for lack of production for several season now. He is not the better all-around back. Ivory was a break out star last season.

Who does most of the time?

Last season, Chris Johnson was ranked as the worst starting RB when it comes to churning yards after contact in the NFL by PFF. Ivory, on the other hand, was ranked as the 5th best. I don't understand how a guy that is ranked the WORST at anything RB-related could be the "best all around" back on a team, especially against another guy (Ivory) who is ranked top 10 in both elusiveness (ranked 6th) and yards after contact (ranked 5th). Would you mind producing some data as to why you think CJ is a better all back?
