I didn't like the majority of picks after round two. He took a bunch of whiffs on WR's when he shoulda tried to trade up for a sure thing, I hated the Mcdougal pick and the need for an LB pass rusher looks like another fail (though IK looks solid).

I loved the McDougle pick . Other than that, he's not a great picker of talent
The Saunders pick was stupid...he's awful and is like 100lbs. Other than that...too early to tell. Shaq got hurt.

We will regret passing on Bruce Ellington. No amount of OU bias will allow me to say Saunders was worth that selection. They were gassed by his play against Bama.

My issue with the McDougle pick was mainly that we didn't have to take him that high. Just looking at the injury plus measurables, I really thought it was a reach then and still do. Add to that, I felt Gaines would have been a better choice (can't teach that size and speed to a player) and I was not a fan.
I wasn't a fan of the Saunders pick and I felt Shaq and Enunwa were redundant. When the three were healthy, none of 'em did anything to stand out really (beside drops) and it just felt like Idzik was hoping for one of the three to stand out. Saunders wasn't gonna take Kerley's spot so that one is especially bad to me. Pretty much every pick from the third round on, I felt like we had better options that we passed on and we coulda addressed more needs but just went for volume at positions.

Didnt like the Saunders pick either...loved Ellington from South Carolina. I think he messed up the receivers in the draft for sure...but I think Mcdougle is a player...he got hurt, it happens. He's improved the roster though from 2012(which was beyond horrific, thanks Tanny).
It's a process for us...we still need to find out if Geno is our guy going moving forward.
Let's go and get this W in Oakland already!!!!!
