This shyt is random. Today suddenly remote play is flawless. No choppyness or random pauses like the other day. It looks good in window mode too.

Funny how it wasn't flawless until you started playing uncharted. Now all of a sudden you're unable to see any flaws at all. Those Stan goggles are impressive.

Has anyone checked to see if PS4 headsets and party chat works via remote play?
I didn't try it yet, but if I just plug in my headset into the controller it should still work right?

Trying to figure it out. When i tried earlier it didnt work. Maybe there's a workaround



anyone tried using the remote play from a different network ?

I'm baffled right now.

Remote play on my PC suddenly is PISS POOR. Like literally the video will freeze every 3 seconds or so while the audio keeps playing which is basically unplayable. I wanted to use it because I'm playing Persona 5 in Japanese which I want to sometimes copy a sentence to my PC to look up words later.

On my phone it's the same story.

The baffling part is on my brothers PS4, which is connected to my network WIRELESSLY, the shyt works smooth.

My PS4:
Phone to PS4=Horrible
PC to PS4=Horrible
Wired/Wireless same thing

Brothers PS4
Phone to PS4=Audio is in sync, video stable. Very light input delay but playable.


I didn't try PC to PS4 as his PS4 is just boggled with shyt.

I've rebuilt my PS4 database, changed settings, checked my router and everything appears clear. shyt was fine before too.

Yeah I think I may do that.

I mean I'm jealous man. People on here talking about walking into their bedroom and saying "Xbox on!" and the thing turns on. Must be a work of art. Might forego controller use too.

I figured it out:

If you have your PS4 connected to a receiver, and then that outputs to the TV then that may cause an issue.

I just directly connected the PS4 to the TV and switched back to my PC which IS connected to the receiver and then the PC and it worked fine.

I don't understand how the receiver causes it to lag and be choppy.

I still gotta test some more. it may have to do with settings on my receiver.

I also noticed my receiver supports 4K pass through.
I wonder if it's 4k/30hz.
