Obviously you are more concerned with having a free service than having a better one. That's fine and that's your prerogative. Still doesn't change the fact that XBL is a better service and some people find that service worth the money.

I had Live when I had my 360s. The ONLY thing I like is being able to jump in a friend's game, everything else is preference.

A service going down for months is not preference. Getting your personal information stolen is not preference. Having a larger diverse better supported community is not preferance. Having one of the largest online games being deemed "unplayable" on your service is not preference.

The only preference that comes in to play is deciding if the $50 is worth the benefits of having xbl

So basically your excuse is that sony is broke and want to nickle and dime the people in order to profit twice . people buy or borrow games for various reasons but broke ass sony wants to ruin a simple function that has been available since online gaming has started . i think its extremely unethical for a company to charge your friends to use your product which will essentially be profiting twice

Microsoft is using online passes and charging you a fee to use their online service. By your logic you're getting DP'd

Still, a a very very small percentage of the Playstation library uses online passes since it is a new phenom but unfortunately going forward people who buy used games will have to come up off some guap. It has zero effect on people who buy games in stores retail or people who buy used games to play single player campaigns, and some companies like Square are dropping OP alltogether.

For most games purchased used, you can jump online immediately whereas with microsoft if you buy a 360 with a nice set of used games for someone, you have to come off 50 dollars to play anything.

If you feel sony is in the wrong for this i cant imagine how you feel about your relationship with microsoft.

Spent a grip in 07' with the PS3...plus I have a nice collection of games and I've downloaded a decent catalogue from PSN

I need another 3-5 to get my money's worth before I start this all over again.
