PS4 HDD Add-On/Upgrade up to 6TB

These AAA titles be like 50-100gb now. You have to install every single game you play. Plus with PS Plus games every month, I'm just trying to future proof my shyt. Don't want to have to ever upgrade more than once.

You can never have too much space. Everytime I get a new game I have to delete something else I like and it sucks.

So what's the consensus so far? I'm looking to upgrade my storage but I've been hearing that the ps4 doesn't take the 4TB size. Also I've tried backing up the save info to an external drive but my ps can't read it (i have a Samsung one and Toshiba drive). Is the backup required if my save info is backed up online through PS plus? Thanks in advance

I've been using the DongCoh Game Bar with a 4TB drive for about a month and a half now. shyt works flawless for me, I leave in rest mode all the time. No issues at all.

I didn't bother to back up anything to an external. I just re-downloaded everything from online storage. Game saves & Games from PSN.
