Improvements not listed in the official firmware update

When you get a trophy there's a PS button notification, and if you press it, it takes you to the trophy you just earned.
.You can set how long to charge your controller or devices when the console is in standby so it won't be always on or always off.
.Massive Audio Improvement To Party Chat
.In Game Sessions section in the Friend List
.If you watch a Twitch stream on the PS4 you can use emotes such as Kappa.
.Now you can "force" to look for update on games. If you click "Options"-button their now is a choice that says "Look for updates"
.When watching Live Streams, now you can browse through the list without stopping the broadcast you were currently watching. It will minimize it to a thumbnail while you are on the list.
.You can use chroma key for camera when streaming, stream party chat, move the camera on the overlay, and sub from live from playstation
.If you hover over the party icon (on the home screen), existing parties will cycle through the members so you can see who is in it without having to even click the icon.
.When downloading an application/game, if you press on the app tile, instead of showing a progress bar with the percentage completed, it now shows the amount downloaded/total amount to load game with an estimated time for completion.
.The PS4 camera can now do chroma key(green screen) in streams. This way you can cut out the background of the video.

If you’re like me, that could mean a music selection hampered by the available space on your only drive. And if you’re really like me, the USB stick itself may not even fit into any of the available slots!

Fortunately, there is a method for using your trusty old iPod to fulfill those auditory desires. First, plug your iPod into any compatible PC/Mac/Linux device and navigate to the root (base) directory of your device. Create a folder titled ‘MUSIC’ (that’s case-sensitive), dump all your favorite jams in there, and then connect the iPod to your PS4.

My Android device will not let me rename my "music" folder to "MUSIC" or let me create a "MUSIC" folder due to duplication. Can someone else try to rename or create a "MUSIC" folder from their PC a root folder and see if you can and try it on your PS4.

If that shyt works for iphones it has to work for android I havent had a iphone since the 4 but since when could u just plug up a iphone and create a folder? I swore you could only do that if the iphone was jailbroken.

Did anyone else have the rest mode problem? I fell asleep watching crunchyroll and my power save functions put my quad in rest mode automatic. I wake up to find that orange light going ham, shyt wouldn't let me cut it on.

I held down the power button to cut it back on, but I'm wondering if Sony at least acknowledged the problem.

Not me. I fell asleep watching netflix, it went into rest mode by the time I woke up. Had me but then I pressed the PS button on my controller and the system woke up normally. I even went into a game session with no weird shyt happening.

Sony has acknowledge the problem though. I read an article that they're investigating it.

Mine still does it...how long do you have to hold the power button?

Edit - I put in rest mode to see if I can turn it back on quickly and it did come back up

Like 10 secs. It's supposed to beep when it cuts off, then you press the power button again to cut it back on.
