I would love to see a demo of this remote connect in a location other than right in front of the tv......but say out at a coffee shop. Sure its all about connection....but I would still like to see this. Should be interesting.

Sony has already said it probably won't work right unless you are sitting very close to your ps4

You'd need super fast, stable, uninterrupted connection. At home and abroad

Those words usualy don't apply to wifi.

But what if your wifi speed at home is the same at a coffee shop? Meaning is there something about being near your console that makes it better quality. So is it that if you get good quality at home and you go some where else with the same speed outside your home...should it not play the same? Or, is it something else with this.

It's not really about them being the same speed. You want both to be fast as possible.

Each button press has to go from your vita to the ps4 it gets processed and then back to your vita. That's a long way to go and any hiccup in performance means your game is stuttering or pausing alltogether.

Think about the wifi in most coffee shops. You have a tendancy to loose the connection or the speeds aren't consistent, or when other people are using it your bandwidth is gonna take a severe hit. When searching the web it's not a big deal because you are just waiting for pages to load, but in the middle of a game, you need it to be perfect. You also need the Internet at your home to be free. No one else can be using it while you game. Even the weather matters

Basically you'd need absolute perfect conditions, and even then it won't be lag free.

Can't wait. That's Why I bought a Vita. I can play ps4 games in bed when I don't feel like sitting, I can play on the Vita when my wife is using the TV, I can use the function to play local multi-player.
