Including 4k in the slim would affect positioning against the Neo. It makes sense for MS to do it because its their only offering on the market and gives the product a longer life.

For sony, neo needs to look as premium as possible in contrast to regular ps4.

Also, Slim was made to save money on producing ps4 in an effort to have better margins. It is the cash cow and is being treated as such.

Stop trying to act like the regular ps4 can't handle vr. Driveclub VR was praised by Digital foundry recently and that was running on just a regular ps4. I along with I guess thousand of others played PSVR on PS4 and it was great but according to you it doesn't work.
