the part that fukks me up is ms letting themselves be the scapegoat for it, without ever asking "ummm is the other company doing this" or "ummmm if we get fukked over, how y'all gonna grease our palms"

the point is this. it doesnt matter who said what in the beginning if you would've read the fine print(which yall didnt). everyone would've realized MS was just stating the obvious with the DRM/always online stuff. but nooooooooooooooooooo...yall want to console stan.

they MARKETED this idea to US... cause we were the ones paying money for it.. i don't care if president obama asked them to do it.. it was a dumbass idea to try and cut out the "used games" market and they have paid dearly for it and never recovered

a simple ebay search will show you what nikkas is getting for these old ass games... sold ufc 2009 and 2010 for $20 while gamestop talking about $1.50

sold my 5s for $389 last week to pay for my 6 plus

360's still going on there for over 150 which is better than waiting on a trade in deal

go check madden prices... came out weeks ago, still on there for $50 easy

The word was already out that this wasnt something coming from either console's offices. It was coming directly from the developers themselves. but nooooooo, stan a console instead of paying attention to reality.

Anyone has the sales figures for 2k15 for both systems?
Anyone in here with a PS4 willing to admit that 2k15 is an "ALWAYS ONLINE" game? meaning if their servers are down the game doesnt work Even with single player modes? I know this is the case because i'm playing it on XBOX. any time or moment the server is down(was down for hours after that first patch this friday) i could not play MyCareer( a purely single player mode). They have you locked into being always online because their VC(in game money) is connected to the game and connected to real money you probably will end up spending to get more VC.

This didnt come from M$ it didnt come from Sony it came from the Devs of 2k15. So all that going crazy was all for not. Now sure some of you will say "oh well at least WE..won the war" Who's WE? iS sony's online setup as solid as Xbox live? NOPE. so think about this for a moment. sony's online isnt and never has been as good as live with MS as competition. what the hell do you think they are going to do to fix things if there isnt any competition(cause you sony fanboys would love to see M$ disappear...or so you think.)

Think about this for a moment. all or just about all of your games or at least the big games that everyone plays will be locked in as DRM-esk games. on a console that doesnt have a A quality online setup. pretty messed up dont you think? or will we ignore this to get back to Stanning?

This whole consumer as an internet advocate and brand warrior thing is a terrible trend.

As a consumer the only thing you should by loyal to is yourself. You think when Smooth passed away Microsoft even sent his family flowers or a card? You think they even knew he existed as an individual? The guy spent time on these forums defending and protecting their brand. He was selling it to other people as a service for free basically. These companies don't give a fukk about you. To them you're a number on a sheet as he was to them. One of millions of buyers who as individuals don't really matter beyond what they contribute to the company's balance sheets.

These companies aren't looking out for your best interest and everything they do is done to make a dollar. All this internet brand fighting is crazy. I'm not loyal to Google, Apple, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, Nvidia, AMD, Intel, or any of these brands people spend countless hours online defending and rationalizing bullshyt for their profit driven anti-consumer decisions. I own products by all the companies I listed but I own them because I see fit to do so not because I'm a loyal consumer.

It give an example of how stupid all this is imagine if we had movie studio fanboys who only watch a movie if Universal produced it. Or TV studio fanboys who only watch TV shows produced by CBS. You look at that and go well HBO makes Game of Thrones and you can't watch that cause it doesn't air on CBS.
