I considered that one....but the legs are too far apart for my TV stand and my lazy ass didn't feel like buying and building a new one:ld:

I got the Sony XBR55X930D....it's the best Sony got to offer this year and Sony TV's have always treated me right:ehh:

I was VERY tempted to get that. But I wanted to game in HDR without the lag being high. And I got a great deal on the price.

How much you get it for?:ohhh:

I read the latest firmware update took the input lag down to around 37ms....that was the deciding factor for me.
I almost got the KS9000 because it would fit on my stand much easier but I read it has screen uniformity issues because of where they put the backlights:francis:

The x930's input lag is 37ms in game mode without HDR on. If you turn on HDR, dunno what it is. The KS8000 is 20.9 in game mode, 22.6 with hdr on game mode.

The guy in the CNET comments said Game mode 37ms without HDR and 40-42ms with....they say anything under 50 is ok so I'll deal with it. Maybe another Firmware update will help it even more.
Both TV's got some really good reviews though...

People dont realize how fast 50 miliseconds is.

You could drop a ruler in your hand, catch it 70inches down and a little over half a second would have elapsed. A little over 600 miliseconds......... :skip:

If you caught it 2 inches down.... 100 miliseconds would have elapsed.....

A BLINK is 100-150 miliseconds.

It takes 13 miliseconds for your eye to even process what youre seeing.

It takes on average 200 miliseconds to react to what youre seeing. Thats about .2 seconds.........

Dudes talkin about input lag, shyt makes me giggle like Lil Wayne.

Let us know how the tv is.

All this talk of premium HDR got me feeling the opposite of Lifestylish. Wifey bout to grind out an extra 200 a month for the next half year so i can cop for the LOW LOW.

I had fun with this tv though. Now it can be retired to the bedroom.

Yup.

Dunno why MS just doesn't start a new gen with Scorpio and use XB1 BC as a selling point. That way they can have Scorpio exclusives. They've definitely pigeonholed themselves.

They haven't officially announced anything who say's they can't do that

I actually think that is exactly what they are going to do.

New generation and allow ALL older xbox games to be playable via backwards compatibility.

I know this isn't what you guys like to hear, but Sony might have a big problem if Microsoft plays this right.
