You live in the United States as well don't you? Acting like your immune to this.
:skip:
I am immune to it. My current mandatory living expenses are about 1/3 of my take home pay after taxes. If the price of everything goes up I am unbothered as I can afford to pay more for everything. Especially with no kids or family to worry about.

I suppose I could lose my job but performance wise I'm ranked in the top 15% at my company so when they start cutting people it's unlikely to start with me.

I'm here for the chaos Trump causes. I want his support to suffer what they've wrought.

Not sure if this is true. The majority of people (strictly speaking for America) can't cover a $1000 expense let alone make a purchase of that amount

Yeah there’s def a significant amount of ppl still holding on for dear life on PS4 in 2025.

GTA will be the game that finally forces their hands tho, 5 years in :mjlol:

Console/Hardware market is wild right now.

We will soon see how much price effects hardware sales.

I think there’s a very imminent gaming bubble that’s gone pop and leave most gaming companies scrambling looking for answers in the near future.

Switch 2 is the first test. I’m sure it will sell out initially, but that second wave of sales is gonna be really telling on the general future/health of the gaming hardware industry.

A lot of the switch 2 sales are going to be scalpers cleaning house and selling for higher too. That’s why I ain’t even looking at a switch 2 in 2025.

They cut the bottom feeders at my job. I know because I used to be on that list about a decade ago and I've been here almost 15 years so I've seen the type they eliminate. We have shit like stacked ranking and the area management will viciously protect the people that boost their metrics and cut those who don't.

(Speaking for America)

True I agree, but A PS5 is not a 1000 bucks, and broke people know how to get things they really want. I come from the life :ahh:

Someone who is dead set on a PS5, probably already has a PS4 and ain't trying to get another system.

If that's the case between trade in's and random discounts in the last 2 years you could have had one for well under 500 to 400 bucks. At which point most people can do the layaway payment plans like after pay that GameStop and Walmart offer.

Currently the people that don't have PS5 and series X are people that really haven't had a reason to get a upgrade yet, nor are they really bothered by playing whatever they play on last generation systems
