No the market will decide i Nintendo made the right or wrong move just like it did with the 3DS and Wii U. My wager is that Nintendo will do fine. The reality is they're still following the same sorts of moves Sony made before them on almost everything they're doing with pricing now. When Microsoft put out an update to a game for a newer generation if you already purchased the game you got that update for free. Sony was the one who both raised the price of newer generation games and updates.
PS and Xbox were criticized on here for following suit after 2K (or whichever publisher) upped it to $70. Nintendo produces the worst specs of the 3 majors, they don't take losses up front to manufacture their hardware, and they're the first one to up the software price again after only 5 years of $70 being the new standard?
They gotta take this heat it's justified. Especially since we know they rarely do sales for 1st party. At least with Xbox there's gamepass and with PS theres sales all the time. PS Essential and Extra have monthly free games. What is NSO doing besides the N64 and GameCube classics? No sales with that service and they're taking the gold points off the eShop.
Nintendo got the most ruthless corporate practices by far
