Sony makes more from subscription alone than the entire Xbox gaming division so it’s pretty obvious they’ll be willing to take losses to recoup the cost from PSN.

they didn't "have to" . This is their 3rd cloud platform they've been on. Went from Amazon Web Services to someone else now MS Azure. If someone else comes along with a better price, they'd prob bounce again.

Im a cloud connoisseur and have never heard of this, could you provide evidence pertaining to any part of this being remotely true? Never heard this till now but you did get dapped by @Barnett114 so he must know about that as well. If either of you fine gentlemen can provide evidence this community will have learned something they didn't know entering this thread and we'll all be more knowledgeable for it.

So to be clear coli, he makes the claim Sony had two other cloud partners before Microsoft (he's not talking about gaikai) and when asked to provide proof he chose to dodge the question.

Sony getting every cent out of gamers they can upfront and gamers will pay, straight up .

Personally I'd only buy "Pro" model and thats only after the model refresh they always do a few years into the console cycle. Buying at launch is a no go for me
