I do agree that black people are being creative and I plan to give my imaginary kids some interesting names (I want to use normal english words that sound cool like Pristine) but there is a smart dumb niqqa line that is being habitually stepped across. The better approach would be to do a little research on what hyphens, apostrophes, and accent marks actually mean, what the words they are trying to create homonyms for actually mean, and since they are the author: a word that is somewhat easily pronounceable (meaning that a person who reads the word can glean all they need to know from the word itself without having to have someone decipher it).
It's a matter of degree really.
