Anyway, for the people on here that know about it.. I got the book about it by Lyle Mcdonald (Bodyrecomposition - The Home of Lyle McDonald : Bodyrecomposition) and I understand the science. Enterted my height and weight and used the calculator on that site, which said I need about 160g of protein a day

My question is, am I supposed to be hungry/starving all day?
Cuz I'm not. I am trying to do 40 grams of protein x 4 meals a day. To get 40g for breakfast I had to eat like 10 egg whites which took forever and I was full. Had a cod fillet for one meal (8oz) , the other fillet 8oz for another meal, and then a 20g protein shake w/ 3oz worth of turkey. It's really not that hard, I invested in a food scale.

People on here and dudes book said you are gonna be miserable, it takes alot of dedication, etc.. but I just eat eggs, turkey, chicken, fish, drink only water, mix in low carb vegetables (broccoli, spinach, etc) and it's really not that hard. When you did it successfully or if you're doing it now, how did you feel while doing it?

I feel like I'm missing something because this is easy. I already don't eat candy or soda, I just cut out stuff like rice, crackers, peanuts/peanut butter, and butter on the pan when I cook

How much should I expect to lose by the end of this month?

I ran RFL twice (and ran his UD2 program prior to that.)

What are your stats? I ask cuz 160g/day protein is extremely low for "category 1" RFL dieters, which is the realm your dedication will be tested.

You glycogen deplete in the beginning?

Thought he included it in the updated RFL book. Generally, its multiple long sets with a weight that allows 45-60sec time under tension.

Ex:

Leg Extension: 6 sets x 15-20 reps taking 45-60 seconds.
Same setup for each major muscle groups.
Repeat everything the following day


Its explained in the UD2 book.

Do yourself a favor and read the passage in UD2. High chance you destroy yourself following ill-informed guidelines talkin bout using squats to glyogen deplete :mjlol:


Keep in mind this isn't necessary. It just drastically kickstarts fatloss. Wouldn't worry about it as cat3.

Just the first two days of the diet. That's it.
Welp I'm like 6 days in but Ima still do this. Thanks crehboi
I still wonder if I'm doing something wrong, they made it seem like it was gonna be unpleasant or hard but shyt I got some good fresh turkey for 2 meals a day (5 oz), I figured out how to make egg whites good for breakfast (tabasco), and then I bake some cod or haddock for dinner:yeshrug:

I've been doing the diet for 3 months now and I went from 5'10 293 to around 257. I would have been down to like 247 or so but I fukked around and ate bad for about a week and a half - maybe more. After the first month I was down ~13-16 pounds which is about 3 lbs a week. I'm NEVER hungry doing the diet but I take ephedrine and caffeine which blunts hunger completely.

I'm running the diet for another 2 months to get to 230 something then I'm done.

I'm down 8 pounds since 5/1 ( it's 5/13 today). Not sure what of that is fat and what's water but :ehh:

I haven't pooped in like 4 days tho :jbhmm:

I'm gonna start working out (per the book's guidelines) and see how that adds to my lawses for the 2nd half of May

I'm absolutely fuccing sick of egg whites so I have been doing a lowfat/lowcarb protein shake to supplement breakfast

I been working so much I haven't been eating as frequently as I should, or getting in all my rec'd protein so I intend to tighten that up for the 2nd half of the month. Gonna travel with a lil cooler like the muscleheads do. But I haven't 'cheated' or had any crazy cravings so I got that part down first

next month Ima ramp up the exercise, the book said you dont even gotta exercise but I'm sure it can only help. I just been so fuccing busy. I have been busting out pushups like every 2/3 hrs every day so I got that going for me. Also my problem hasn't been eating too much or eating the wrong shyt but remembering to eat enough during the day. It's easy to find a burger or sandwich if you have no time, but trying to eat just protein in a rush and not spend a bunch of money on the road is a little harder :damn:. if you like turkey, I recommend buying like 2.5 pounds at atime, getting a bunch of ziplocs, and dividing them into 5.5 oz servings. You need a food scale of course. But 5.5 oz is around 20g protein. So that and a 20g protein shake (low carb/low fat shake) is a meal right there. I got sicc of egg whites a few eeks ago but turkey still holding me down and it's relatively cheap

In addition to pure numbers going down I feel like it's fat mostly because I look less like pre-jail Guwop than I have in a verr long time
I'm going on a lil vacation next week to visit a lady friend (no Deuce Altendre :heh:) so I will probably eat/drank and gain a few lbs byke but I'm still hoping to end the month around 209, and gonna try to hit 185 by July 1 :lupe:
If that happens Ima go ahead and give this shyt a full 100 emoji cosign
