Thats exactly it.

The full scene above starts with "I see your talents have gone beyond the mere physical level, your skills are now at the point of spiritual insight" and that completely vibes with my own experience as there is an obvious and palpable shift when you leap that fence you didn't know was penning in your awareness as it becomes a full body thing as opposed to mere words in your head commanding your actions to which you're actually reacting.

If you have a voice in your head telling you what to do and you can't control it or turn it off then who is the master? Who is the slave? What of the immense amount of energy expended and wasted in maintaining its incessant chatter?

Don't get me wrong, I have one but I have also experienced that total presence of silence and its a much, much higher state of awareness and I've come to believe this egoic state is a drain on our natural resources akin to making wheels spin but making no real progress.

Would be very interesting to see the same research done on pro athletes as I'd be willing to bet they don't think a thing but feel everything as that is the swiftest, most efficient possible reaction with no waste and full traction.

That said I'm also quite certain there are people walking around that are just empty vessels. Lights on but no Soul within, no deeper spiritual connection and they have no internal dialogue so its definitely a spectrum in that sense. Ironic.

Kobe Bryant mentioned that he got into the habit of practicing mindful meditation sometime in his career. I believe he might have had ADHD
.. Also LeBron is clearly in the moment he has some highly intelligent perhaps supernatural qualities, that the average basketball player doesn't have. LeBron is so in the moment, he can remember play by plays from even years prior... I think he may also meditate but he might be born with a gift of not having too much internal monologue. His brain is certainly special and thats why he's cited as having one of the highest basketball IQs ever. I don't think it's that, I think it's that he is so present, shyt is beyond easy for him.

I believe the internal monologue is a curse that doesn't allow you to enjoy life to the fullest because you're unable to be present. I've started meditating but it's off and on, the ability to be totally present is something special.

Yes :gucci:

You believe a person in the Top 0.00001% to ever perform a craft isn't thinking? :mjlol:
At first, they were thinking but eventually they probably stopped because thinking is unnecessary and requires too much energy.

You're talking about the flow state. Anyone can achieve this. I've done plenty of times, in wrestling, football, studying, taking tests, flirting, video games, etc and I'm no expert in anything. When I'm in that zone, mostly with sports, I'm so in the moment that I don't need to think, just react....but this is temporary, in small bursts. And that comes from hours of repetitions and muscle memory.

The internal monologue comes in when you aren't doing a thing, just chillin, going about your business... some ppl legit just aren't having linear thoughts. They need to perform an activity to even come close to what those with internal monologues would consider "active thinking".

I think some people can be in that flow state at all times though or perhaps the majority of the time, and can probably be in that state, doing absolutely nothing. So when you or I stay thinking in our minds the majority of the time, and only achieve the flow state in a minority of situations. These mofos got this shyt on most of the time and only think when necessary. That's some dope monk shyt imo. Life is more enjoyable in the flow state.

I disagree, if 50% - 70% of people were in a flow state, there would be much more peace

Flow state suggests a level above, flow state is not a base, it is a heightened awareness and willingness to go with, and that comes with flow state

The theory is unprovable and an I'm white and I said so ass theory

This makes sense, most people are fukking idiotic and sheep. Like there is a 2 lane left turn lane by my house and the one on the far left is always backed up but the one on the right is not but they both lead to the same destination on the highway that merges into one lane, I always laugh as I pass these retards every day

Want to kick some game because maybe it'll reach the right researcher on here and I think this is something often overlooked about cracking "The Flow State" from personal experience and from watching other people.

When you look at these people:

Does anything about these people during their primes or at any given time ever give you the vibe that they're ever not confident??

fukk no. If anything they were cocky as fukk.

Basically: competitors try to get you on that "humble" wave because it's absolutely brutal competing against someone with unconditional confidence.

It's our birthright to feel good about ourselves unconditionally. We're all born with unconditional confidence. It gets removed when as a kid everyone keeps criticizing you because adults and your peers are haters.

When you're in the zone you ever notice how unstoppable you feel? Like if you play ball you know that shot is going in. Video games you about to annihilate the other squad. Maybe you about to make the greatest music you've ever did. Well, that's all unconditional confidence.

People think to get there you first got to get into the zone, but I think it's the opposite: to get into the zone it all starts with that feeling and mentality you're going to take over.

You don't get into that zone unless you've got the unconditional confidence because it doesn't rely or require anything, it's simply that - unconditional. Like the second when we were all born.

Andy Reid and Mahomes out there love to kill a crowd. Brady same thing. Curry out there launching logo threes and turning around not having to look at the basket. That seem like self-doubt is present at all?

It ain't about clearing that voice in your head and not thinking imo, it's about reinforcing that voice in your head that you about to dominate then going out there and shutting it down. That's what the killer instinct is: everything starts with unconditional confidence.
