its the difference between one guy in his head "damn, she got a phat ass"....then person with no internal monologue "DAMN, nikka YOU SEE HER shyt, BREH :damn:"loud out in the open.
EXACTLY!

yea I have one but I think people without one are better off and have a superior mind

do you really think Lebron or Kobe have voice in their head telling them to shoot?
they just pull the trigger

Nah, kobe and lebron think to themselves alot, they are usually a few steps ahead in their heads than the person defending them. they processing quicker. there is something to being inuitive, but this "no inner monologue" shyt is not it.

Why would you think that …

I’ve never met a black person who didn’t have one … but maybe it’s just me and the people I know ….

I know a few. i have an ex (she black i'm not a pawg chaser) and she would just do things, and i'd be like "why you do that, and she'd stare blankly, childlike, and be like "duh, i dont know" and she wasnt playing or running game. cuz i'd watch her in social interactions just blurt out random shyt

I kno how it feel to not have one. I had like 4 times where I just reacted no thought at all. My fine ass supervisor walked past me. She was a good 15ft from me
I said “um um” and had this face:wow:

She stopped and turned around like:skip:

Reality set in for me I was like:lupe:

I said sorry

She just smiled and walked away

I swear to do this I said that in my head. But I guess I didn’t

They are processing quicker because they are COMPLETELY in the moment.
I doubt they are thinking ahead because you cant really predict someone’s moves with one hundred percent accuracy and if you try that tends to eff you up and distract you.
What if they don’t do what you assume?
However you can be more in the moment then them and get that half a second chance to go right when you perceive them going left in the moment.
Kobe and Lebron and MJ and Jimi Hendrix and Michael Jackson are masters of RESPONSE in the present.
There’s a reason its called killer instinct and not killer logic.
Killer instinct is the killers logic.

All that exists is the present.

The "past" is presents that have been unwrapped, waves collapsed, and the "future" is the one to come based on current actions ergo by being here, now, completely you are transcendent and tap into an unfinite well of potential that encompasses everything.

Know why so few ever get there and stay there?

Fear.

Its the security guard of now
and it uses the illusions of past and present to keep you anywhere but here. Like most things it all can be traced back to your childhood and how much you've undone vs how many illusions you still labor under.

Its why I say 81% of the populace are Slaves because they are strangers to their Self and accept one step removed signals instead of direct visceral experience. Anyone who is at the top of their game has recoded their internal operating system to get that way. Its why performance coaching is such a big thing and I'm not talking about simpletons online handing out popsych sugar pills as the real thing is ugly but efficient as it involves challenging your fundamental concepts.

Remember, you can feel a thought but you can't think a feeling.

If this is true, that would mean anywhere from 50-70% of people are walking around with absolutely nothing going on in their heads.

"Psychology professor Russell Hurlburt estimates 30 to 50 percent of people have an inner monologue narrating their thoughts throughout the day. But if you don’t have one, Hurlburt, who teaches at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, says not to worry."
What if the person was born deaf. Is the monologue in sign language?

This is more true than people want to think. Someone with no internal monologue is incapable of introspection and is reliant on external stimuli (entertainment, recreational drugs, etc…). They are also over-socialized because they can’t stand to be alone. If you take these things away from them they will go insane.

We all know people like this.
I know a lot of people like that, and every time i look at them :gucci::francis:

Is this linked to people that can’t imagine images in their head? That’s scary to think about, I can play out a whole fake scenario in a fictional location complete with familiar voices saying whatever I want them to with very little effort. It’s insane to think that there are people without an imagination.
My brother can’t doesn’t like to read books because he can’t form mental images of what he’s reading. So to him it’s just words on a page he’s repeating back to himself.

He’s also the type who will work six 12 hour days in a row on some “boss was finally giving out some overtime :myman:“ type shyt

Great guy but some people weren’t meant to be philosophers
