My husband has too much of an internal monologue…so much that he thinks out loud…

He has a full conversation with himself…I asked him about it and he told me he is just thinking and will try to keep it down. But its weird…I may never get really use to it.

Is this linked to people that can’t imagine images in their head? That’s scary to think about, I can play out a whole fake scenario in a fictional location complete with familiar voices saying whatever I want them to with very little effort. It’s insane to think that there are people without an imagination.

There's too much going on and too many rules for an elite basketball player to not be thinking. They are not overthinking and adding extra doubt to an outcome, and maybe what you're talking about works for a couple possessions, but overall they are thinking.

More capable of what? Passing a 20-question test? Probably Reader #2. Applying what was read to everyday practice? Depends on the person but I'd lean #1. And trust that Reader #2 is a thinking ass person.

I believe it. I’ve tried to have convos with some guys and they really don’t be thinking about nothing but money, sex and sports. They probably walk around having no appreciation for the world we live in.
