This has nothing to do with being in shape. Pro athletes can't stay faithful. Faithfulness is about empathy, integrity, maturity, fortitude.

As someone who slipped up in the relationship I had, I was 25 and lacked the latter two which would've let me leave before doing such.

You sound like a person with morals/discipline. It's hard for people like yourself to understand people lacking in that regard. It's similar to how super motivated people don't understand why people slack. We got way more slackers than motivated people though.
