I was just researching Baltimore public housing the other day and I read that by 1992 there were about 18,000 public housing units in Baltimore and now there are only about 9000 units that can be occupied and that's the same number of units available in 1950. There are close to 30,000 people on the waiting list for housing. That's crazy to me!

The fukked up part is that every public housing development is located on prime real estate in the city; closest to transportation and most are a short bus ride into downtown. They've already torn down some of the developments and I'm sure they are plotting on how to displace the others now. Especially now that city living is the thing now.

Couldn't have said it better. We have paragons of systemic racism all around us--It cant be escaped. Look at how those people were treated in the 1st clip.. This is the way they ran my high school. They cage and treat us like animals and then wonder why some of us think the way we do. The clip ends with the devil smugly counting his money and that couldn't have been more fitting.
