Until shyt gets fukked up?It’s crazy America never prepare for shyt until shyt gets fukked up
People are worried about war with China, Russia and superbugs but grid failure is much more likely to happen and none of us are prepared for it

I love PR...been back 2 back years for work and just ended up chilling out for a long weekend. I hope they're cool, parts of the island I drove around still seem smashed from the hurricane 5 years ago.
That being said, I keep playing not getting a generator. I know this country will do the bare minimum to sustain shyt, so I don't know why even in a city like Chicago I keep playing chicken with the power grid here.

.I saw and remember the eye of the hurricane Hugo in 1989.I was 2
sure u rememberDamn I had no idea that shyt was that bad. After Maria the gov sold the management of the electric grid to a private company that been jacking up costs like crazy (electric bills going up 80-100 dollars in just a few months) while the grid keeps deteriorating.
Even without hurricanes PR's grid has been garbage. Constant blackouts multiple times a week, multihour blackouts all the time. Just a few months ago the entire island lost power for 2-3 days, and last year there was another incident where everyone lost power for hours.
The storm wasnt even that bad in the northeast where most people live. Power grid is just a complete joke

Time to just leave PR at this point this shyt happens every damn year how can you have peace of mind
