Pulled a hamstring need some quick home remedies

Pulled a hammy yesterday at a pick up game I have a high pain tolerance so I played through it but I feels like a bytch today. Jumper was on point so I need to get back out there today before Ramadan starts tomorrow. It's not a serious strain but I need to be able to elevate a little more I tried ice but it didn't work. I got 4 hours to make this happen before the court gets hot and they start playing.

you dont have a pulled hamstring. i used to play soccer at a high level. we had physios. i pulled my hammy once and couldnt run for 3 weeks. :camby: no way you can play 4 hours later with a pulled hamstring :dahell:

you havent pulled your hamstring if you are even thinking about playing today. ive actually pulled my hamstring before dumbass. you cant go and play a day after pulling your hamstring. you cant even jog. :snoop:

I felt a pull on my hamstring and it feels like shyt ever sense. I ain't a pro athlete playing 82 games a season I just 2 to 3 hours today. I have a noticeable limp and I can't run full speed or elevate but I can still move around a bit. I just need a way to stop from feeling the sharp pains if I move my hammy to far. If you need 3 weeks to be able to walk again than good for you Breh.

I am dealing with the EXACT same injury currently. like 4 weeks ago, I went for a run, and 1 mile in it pulled, and I had to stop. I took 2 weeks off from running, cuz it seems to take forever to heal, and I have come back gradually. in the mean time, I was biking instead mostly.

I can still do 5 mile runs, but not as fast as I could before the injury. and I have to take rest days between runs as well. but I was supposed to be getting ready for a 1/2 marathon in about a month, and I went from doing long runs of 9-10 miles on the weekend back down to 7 miles since I came back. and my shyt is still kinda sore.

I think the ONLY remedy for the injury is prolonged rest unfortunately.

You strained your muscle hooping, so you think the smart thing to do is to go hoop on it again?

Rest your muscle. Obviously not a severe strain. But you trying to hoop is only going to make it worse.
