One step at a time. The Purdy train might turn into a pumpkin at some point. Having Jimmy potentially available for any part of the season is a plus
Shiit, I feel I'm the only one saying Purdy is bound to have a catastrophic game at some point (because he kinda should, considering the context of his situation). I'm just saying it would be hilarious to have a QB controversy between him and a really banged up Jimmy.

If Jimmy is healthy in the playoffs. Jimmy is starting.

Are we really this desparate? We looking at, literally, the last person anybody in the NFL wanted to pick, after one game, and talking bout him like he's gonna be the next Tom Brady.. That shyt was a once in a lifetime thing.

I just had to put this here :mjlol:

Chris Simms really said with a straight face that the Dolphins “exposed” the Niners defense :russ:

The same Niner defense that forced 3 turnovers and held them to just 7 points in the 2nd half..

:pachaha:

It’ll be one thing if Tom Brady was saying this. It’ll be a whole other thing if Peyton and Eli were saying this. Hell, I would go out the way and say that I would pay attention if Tony Romo was saying this. You know…ELITE quarterbacks.

But we talking about CHRIS SIMMS. Not his Super Bowl winning father PHIL Simms. CHRIS SIMMS..

The same Chris Simms who had a QB rating of 69.1 for his entire NFL career.

The Yay
There were a lot of open receivers all day and Huf blew a lot of assignments (I think hes responsible for both TDs ?) and as usual Lenoir was playing way off...BUT in the end of the day the front 7 dominated so you cant really say our D was exposed.

but yes, coulda been a different story if Tua was accurate on those passes

Tua lost that game. Give it to the D cuz son was very erratic probably hearing footsteps all day.

We only need him to manage the game and he did a solid job of that. Being the last pick in the NFL draft doesn't mean anything he worked his way up the food chain. Not saying he'll be elite but he is what one the NFLs 45-50 best QBs.

Yeah, Miami could've done a lot more damage but we don't know if Tua was shook because of the game/situation or because our defense made him go :whoa:

I think the defense made as good a job as you could make against this McDaniel offense. People will be open, Hill make great plays and we were lucky Waddle was injured :yeshrug:
