That's not gonna happen. Especially in Cleveland for 11 weeks and Seattle is in full rebuild mode. Pete might not even be there next year.

@Dr. Narcisse Didn't you say Trey should have transferred during the covid season? I think your right he needed more experience. Yes, he has great skill position players and a good play caller. But with his lack of experience and the OL he has. Im expecting him to struggle.

Now things worked out for him in terms of going top 3 with only 1 game played his sophomore year. Chances are a great year would have made him go to the Jets at best.

However, yea he knew his conference was only playing 1 game he could have went elsewhere to get a full season in. Maybe feared being in a new system with all the spotlight on him. He still looks green though. Almost like a HS player that went to the NBA. A year away from being a year away.

Now to be fair we could look up in a couple of years and Trey is looking like the Giannis of the NFL

Its just getting through this next year or so. Who knows it might be the 2nd half of the season where the light comes on.

Josh Allen wasnt "good" imo his first two years. Difference is the 49ers have a Super Bowl ready roster so more scrutiny will come at Trey for growing pains.

That’s a lot of money to lose to roll over into next years cap. He only remains if he restructures which might be possible if the lack of interest is true

if im him and his agent i would restructure, whatever team you go to you'll be so far behind and learning the scheme your essentially not playing for at least the first 4 weeks. if trey starts slow thats his quickest road back on the field, but everything is about ego in the nfl, i dont think he wants to comeback at all and i dont blame him

Truth be told…. I wish they drafted or added a backup that can run the same or similar offense as Trey.

I don’t think Sudfield or Purdy can do what Trey does
